Prince Filip and Princess Danica Karadjordjevic Visited the Monastery in Milton
On June 30, 2026, the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Milton had the great honour of welcoming Their Royal Highnesses Prince Filip, Princess Danica, and young Prince Stefan.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by His Eminence Metropolitan of Canada Mitrofan, who on this occasion presented the Royal Family with an icon of Saint Justin of Celije as a gift. The meeting took place in a spirit of brotherly love, respect and shared concern for the preservation of the spiritual, cultural and national heritage of the Serbian people.
This visit was a blessing and a testimony that, wherever Serbs live, faith, the Church and unity remain the foundation that brings us together and connects us. We sincerely thank Their Royal Highnesses Prince Filip, Princess Danica and Prince Stefan for the honour and joy they brought to our monastery.
