Sister Paraskeva (née Martina Lepovic) was born in 1992 in Smederevo, Serbia. She received her primary education in Vicenza, Italy, where her parents moved during the NATO bombing of Serbia.

 

Upon returning to Serbia, she enrolled in the Secondary Medical School in Pozarevac, majoring in nursing and technology, which she successfully completed. After graduating from school, she completed an internship at the Sveti Luka General Hospital in Smederevo, gaining practical experience in the medical profession. In 2013, she returned to Italy and enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan. During her studies, in 2018, she completed the six-month program Dall'Idea alla Start-Up (From Idea to Startup) within the ALTIS (Alta Scuola Impresa e Società) Institute, which operates at the same university, thus completing her academic training.

 

In July 2022, she entered monastic life as a novice at the Grncarica Monastery in the Diocese of Sumadija. On Christmas Eve, January 6, 2023, she received the podrasnik and entered the rank of novice. On October 10, 2024, at the Raletinac Monastery, she was ordained a monk by His Eminence Metropolitan Jovan of Sumadija into the rank of little schema, receiving a monastic vocation and continuing her spiritual path within the Serbian Orthodox Church. On September 1, 2025, she officially became a member of the Milton Monastery within the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada, where she continues her monastic service. Since February 2026, she has been serving as the secretary of the Administrative Board of the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada.
