Slava of Mother Jugovic Circle of Serbian Sisters in Windsor

On August 9, 2026, the Slava of the Mother Jugovic Circle of Serbian Sisters was solemnly celebrated at the Saint Dimitrije Church in Windsor. The celebration began with the Holy Liturgy, followed by the blessing of the Slava bread and wheat, and then a joint Slava lunch in the church hall.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to this year's godmother, Mrs. Sava Bakic, and the new godmother, Mrs. Daliborka Damjanovic, for their love, effort, and hospitality, as well as to the president of our Circle of Serbian Sisters, Mrs. Gordana Krndija, and to all our hardworking sisters who, with their effort and love, constantly support the life and mission of our Church.
It was a special pleasure for us to host Mrs. Raviojla Ajdinovic, president of the Gracanica Church in Windsor, and Mrs. Dragica Poljak, president of the Saint Petka Church in Lakeshore. We would also like to thank Fr. Marko Dimic, parish priest of Saint Petka Church, who joined us for the Slava lunch and enhanced our celebration with his presence.
