New Priest Ordained in Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada
On August 9, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan of Canada Mitrofan celebrated the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy at the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Milton. His Eminence was concelebrated by: Protosyngel Sava (Medakovich), Protopresbyter Zlatibor Djurasevic, Presbyter Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Deacon Miroslav Radosevic.
During the Holy Liturgy, the previous diocesan deacon Petar Marjanovic was ordained to the rank of presbyter. Metropolitan Mitrofan addressed the newly ordained Fr. Petar with words of instruction. After the Liturgy, the newly ordained Fr. Petar and his wife Dunja prepared a hospitable meal for all those present in the monastery's dormitory.
